About Cadence35

Cadence35 is a free, hand-curated web directory organised in the tradition of a library card catalogue. Every site in the collection has been submitted by its owner, reviewed for relevance, and assigned to one of twenty-two subject sections. The result is a structured, browsable index of the open web — maintained without algorithmic ranking or commercial influence.

How the Catalogue Works

The directory is divided into twenty-two sections, each functioning as a subject heading in a card catalogue. Entries within each section are filed chronologically by submission date. There is no search ranking, no domain authority weighting, and no preferential placement — every listing stands on equal footing within its assigned section.

Adding Your Site

Site owners may submit a listing at any time using the submission form. The process requires only a URL and a choice of section. Submission is free of charge and takes less than a minute. Once reviewed, the listing is filed permanently in the catalogue under the appropriate subject heading.

Editorial Policy

Cadence35 accepts submissions from any legitimate website that can be filed under one of the twenty-two subject headings. We do not accept duplicate entries, placeholder sites, or submissions that cannot be meaningfully assigned to a section. Once accepted, listings are not removed unless the site ceases to operate or the owner requests removal.
